1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of unilegal.app and the services offered by UNILEGAL Law Offices (“Unilegal”). By using the site you agree to these Terms.

2. Services offered

Unilegal provides Florida traffic-defense legal services statewide in all 67 counties. Civil traffic violations are handled on a flat-fee basis ($99). DUI cases and other criminal traffic charges are custom-quoted within 24 business hours of citation upload (typically $499–$1,499).

Engagement is formed only after (a) we complete a conflict check, (b) you sign an engagement agreement, and (c) we acknowledge in writing that we represent you in a specific matter. See our Legal Disclaimer for the full scope.

3. Fee structure

Civil traffic — $99 flat. One fee covers attorney assignment, filing of a not-guilty plea or motion to dismiss with the appropriate Florida Clerk of Court, attorney appearance at any required hearing, all communications with the court, and notification of the outcome. Court fines, surcharges, and BDI/traffic-school fees are separate and payable directly to the court or provider.

DUI / criminal traffic — custom quote. Pricing depends on charge severity, BAC tier, prior history, and county. Quotes are issued within 24 business hours of citation upload. No fee is charged until you confirm the quote.

Excluded from our fee: court fines and surcharges; FR-44 / SR-22 insurance premiums; FLHSMV reinstatement fees; BAIID installation and monitoring; DUI School Level I / II tuition; Victim Impact Panel fees; probation supervision costs.

4. Money-Back Filing Guarantee

If we have not filed your defense (a not-guilty plea or election of court hearing entered with the appropriate Florida Clerk of Court) within 24 business hours of receiving your complete citation upload, the $99 fee is refunded automatically.

Business hours means 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding federally observed holidays.

Complete citation upload means a legible photo of the entire citation, the full case/citation number, and the issuing county or municipality. Incomplete uploads do not start the 24-business-hour clock until completed.

The guarantee covers our timely filing — it does not guarantee any specific case outcome. The court's verdict, sentencing, or related judgments are not within the guarantee.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) misrepresent your identity or the citation you upload; (b) upload citations issued to other persons without express authorization to act on their behalf; (c) attempt to bypass our fraud-prevention controls; (d) use the site to harass, defame, or violate the rights of any third party.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the county pages, the Florida DUI resource, the point-system guide, statutory analyses, service-page defense playbooks, and comparison pages — is copyrighted by UNILEGAL Law Offices unless attributed to another source. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. Wholesale reproduction or scraping for commercial purposes is prohibited.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, our liability for matters covered by our engagement agreement is limited to the fees paid for that matter. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for: (a) gross negligence or willful misconduct; (b) violations of Florida Bar professional-conduct rules; (c) any liability that cannot be limited under Florida law.

8. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Florida law. Any disputes arising under these Terms or related to our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the county where Unilegal's principal office is located, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

9. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
